WELL, life threw me a curve ball....in a good way.... I accepted a new job which will require a move. So with the interviewing and hitting it in high gear to find a realtor, start the packing, etc.....my goal focus has been really shifted off balance. I may take a break until I get settled....since I was struggling to keep the momentum up anyhow. With further adieu, here's how I did on my May goals:
- FAMILY
- Family Date--check
- Family Game Night--missed this one :(
- Date #1--check
- Date #2--check
- HOME LIFE
- Continue with the weekly Get Organized Wizard missions
- YUCK....didn't even LOOK at them
- Add in the other weekly missions I didn't do in April
- Seeing as how I didn't do the new....I didn't do the ones I'd skipped either
- Come up with some daily and weekly tasks
- I was doing well with this one, but it got pushed to the side with just about everything else
- HEALTH
- Kitchen Stewardship--Start back with the 3 Easy Changes, add two of her other 10 foundational habits (was going to do this the last two month and didn't, again I need decide which ones), and any of the Monday Missions that jump out and get me and maybe focus some of last month's missions I didn't do so much with
- First off, I had to "jump" back into the 3 easy changes on May 22nd, but I jumped right back out
- Monday Mission 5/2/11 - focus on grains - didn't really do much here
- Monday MIssion 5/16/11 - think about preparedness --really thought about it
- Monday Mission 5/23/11 - Baby Steps for Peparedness -- haven't taken any baby steps yet
- Yoga weekly on my own, hope I do that this month since I didn't last month
- nada
- Weekly walks with my husband....sigh, again I hope I do that this month
- nada
- Drink more water, at least 32 ounces per day
- some....but not really
- SELF
- Read 3 books this time
- Just one: Intuitive Eating by Tribole and Resch
- Continue with the 52 Weeks of ME Challenge
- Skipped one week, partly due to Blogger being messed up, but otherwise I followed through here, here, and here
- Journal 3 times a week EVERY week
- Have a Quiet Time 10 times this month PLUS weekly Lectio Divina sessions
- done...12 quiet times and an LD every week!
- PROJECTS
- Begin developing a rotating menu plan by coming up with 10 solid meals that the family loves are fairly simple and fit within our budget
- nada
- Review and possible revise existing budget, as well as stash $100 in the emergency fund
- did revise a budget to look at for the move...."re-stashed" $100 after having to withdraw it (not sure that counts)
- Explore HOME ORGANIZATION
